Anyone who is a Flower Cookie fan cannot imagine how the recipe for one of the most sought-after petit fours in the delicacy studio came to be. At first, the product was launched as a special edition only on festive dates. The reason: the production was 100% handmade. The cookies were sprinkled one by one and then cut into the famous star shape. Just to pass the sugar, four people were needed and another two to put in the oven. But customers wanted more Flower Cookie. Not only on festive dates, but on every day of the year. So, after making some strategic adaptations to the production line – without losing, of course, the artisanal touch – the little flower from Hachimitsu started to occupy store shelves every day of the week.
“What’s the secret to the taste of this cookie? ” – is one of the most heard questions by the Hachimitsu team. The head confectioner does not reveal all the ingredients, but gives some tips: “Vanillary sugar, lots of love and a very special affection for the customer”.
